Randall T. Carrick

Randall T. Carrick, 53, of Elkhart, died Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at 5:36 pm at home.

He was born in Goshen, Indiana on December 11, 1955 to Nubern and Norma (Johnson) Carrick. On May 14, 1983 he married Cynthia J. Helmuth in Elkhart. She survives along with 2 sons, Branden Carrick of Chicago, IL, and Ethan Carrick, at home; 3 daughters, Erica Carrick of Syracuse, IN, and Faith and Amanda Carrick, both at home; 3 brothers LeRoy Carrick of Elkhart, Leighton (Irene) Carrick of Goshen, and Kenneth (Shirley) Carrick of Orlando, FL; 2 sisters, June (Ryan) Metzger of Goshen, and Karlene (Eugene) Boutwell of Florida; 3 half brothers, Robert Eash of Elkhart, Dennis Eash of Osceola and Eugene Eash of Ohio. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Carrick; a sister, Irene Carter; a half sister, Donna Wells and his parents.

Mr. Carrick was a graduate of Elkhart Memorial High School, and worked as parts manager at North End Cycle Shop in Elkhart for 28 years. He attended Northside Baptist Church. He loved dirt bike racing, bicycling and was an avid sports fan and competitor.

Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at Northside Baptist Church, 53198 CR 9 N., Elkhart, with the funeral service following at 1:00 pm. Rev. Carl Henry will officiate. Cremation will follow services. Memorials may be given to Northside Baptist Church.
