Ray E. Windbigler

Ray E. Windbigler, 79 of Elkhart passed away May 18, 2012 in his home surrounded by his wife and family.

He was born April 22, 1933 in Elkhart to Carl and Ruth (McFarland) Windbigler. Ray was married on June 13, 1967 for 45 wonderful years to Leilani. He is survived by his wife Leilani and 4 children Ronald, Edward, and Cindy all of Elkhart and Terry of Canton, OH; 4 step children, John, Carla and Pam all of Elkhart and Dianne of Muskegon, MI; 27 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 1 sister, Roena Willard of Elkhart and 1 brother Vernon Windbigler of Tulsa, OK. Ray was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Tom and Tim Windbigler.

Ray graduated from Elkhart High School and was a key polisher for Rouston Brass Co. He was a family man and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Ray will be loved forever.

Memorial contributions may be given to the American Lung Association.

Cremation will take place. Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home at Cobblestone Crossing, Elkhart is assisting the family with arrangements.
