Rebecca E. Kitner

Rebecca E. Kitner, 71, of White Pigeon, MI passed away Wednesday, February 15, at Elkhart General Hospital, Elkhart. She was born September 9, 1945 to Harry Burnett and Ernestine (Umstead) Stallter, Sr. She married Miles E. “Pat” Kitner on August 24, 1974 in Constantine, MI. He preceded her in death in 2010.

She is survived by a son, Jerry (Michelle) Cocanower, JR, of White Pigeon, MI; 2 grandchildren, Andrew and Megan Cocanower, of White Pigeon; a brother, Harry B. Stallter, Jr.; and a sister, Nancy Bodish.

She was employed at CTS for several years before becoming a fulltime farmer. She loved her family and enjoyed the outdoors.

Friends may visit with the family from 4-7 P.M. on Sunday Feb. 19, 2017 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home. Cremation will take place.
