Rebecca L. Roy

Rebecca L. Roy 72, of Middlebury, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 22nd at Elkhart General Hospital.

She was born Sept. 9, 1944 in Elkhart to Harold and Irene (DuCharme) Baker. She married Harry “Mike” Roy on April 26, 1962 in Elkhart. She is survived by her husband, Mike of Middlebury, 2 sons, Lincoln (Carol) Roy of Elkhart and Michael (Susan) Roy of Middlebury; 5 grandchildren, John Roy, Jessica Winer, Tracey Kline, Brian Kline and Eric Kline; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Dorothy LaRocca of Alhambra, CA and Tanya (Donald) Paulus of Middlebury and a brother, Kenneth (JoAnn) Baker of Maricopa, AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Rebecca was a homemaker and raised two wonderful sons. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Middlebury and was a member of the Michiana H.O.G. Chapter. She loved going on motorcycle trips.

The family will receive friends from 11 am to 1 pm Saturday, Aug. 26th at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home where a memorial service will begin at 1 pm with Father Ted Stanley officiating.
