Rena Marie Cornelison

Rena Marie Cornelison, 75 of Elkhart, passed away Sunday September 15, 2013 at the home of her daughter in Austin, Arkansas.

Rena was born June 27, 1938 in Elkhart to George E. and Naomi (Ritchie) Revoir. She married Lester L. Cornelison I, on August 15, 1970 in Elkhart. He died June 13, 2007. Surviving are a daughter, Deborah Ledford of Austin, AR; 2 sons, Lester L. (Denise) Cornelison II of Mishawaka and Michael (Alicia) Cornelison of Elkhart; 4 grandchildren, Katie Ledford Thurmond, Julie Ledford Webb, Connor Cornelison and Gavin Cornelison; 4 great-grandchildren, Jillian, Devin, Kalie, and Izabell; 2 sisters, Virginia Kieffer of Mishawaka and Caroll Sims of Elkhart, a brother George (Linda) Revoir Jr. of Washington, DC,and her loving dog, Abby. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Revoir and a sister, Sharon Kleitz.

Rena retired as a cost accountant from Miles Laboratories/Bayer Corp.

Visitation will be Friday, Sept.20th from 2-6 pm at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral & Cremation Center where services will be held at 11 am Saturday Sept. 21st. Burial will follow at Rice Cemetery.
