Robert W. Eaton

Robert W. Eaton, 97, of Bristol, passed away Tuesday December 13, 2022 at his home. He was born March 12, 1925 in LaGrange, IN to Merrill and Vera Eaton. On June 22, 1946 in LaGrange he married      A. Jean Adams who preceded him in death on August 25, 1997.

Bob worked for 20 years in the mobile home industry at both Platt Company and Herrli Industries. He worked simultaneously at CTS for 12 years as a machine operator and Merhow Industries as a final finisher for 27 years. Bob enjoyed woodworking and tinkering around on different projects. He loved to spend time with his family, friends and his dogs.

Surviving are his daughters Donna (Terry) Miller of Elkhart and Kathy Kazmierzak of Toney, AL; grandchildren, Jason (Rusty) Kelly, Jeff (Patty) Cope, Trent Eaton, Justin Kazmierzak and Travis (Nicole) Kazmierzak, six great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren, daughter -in-law Patricia Eaton of Elkhart. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Merrill and Vera; his wife Jean; son Robert W. Eaton Jr. and brothers Glendon Eaton and Daryle Eaton.

Visitation for Robert will be from 11am to 12pm on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 where services will be at 12pm with Pastor Jerry Chamness officiating. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen.
