Robert L. Steffen

Robert (Bob) Steffen, 77, of Bristol, lost his battle to cancer and passed away peacefully on Wednesday Nov. 12, 2014.
He was born Sept. 23, 1937 in Elkhart to Wilbur and Wava Steffen.
Bob owned and operated Dunlap Tool and Toolman, Inc for 30 years before his retirement.
Bob was a passionate man who truly loved his family and friends. After them came the cars he loved to restore and drive. He was an avid golfer
Bob and Gay enjoyed many years of traveling around the world together.
Bob lived a full life, enjoying the people and things that he loved the most and he will be missed dearly.

Bob is survived by his wife and best friend Gathial (Gay) of 45 years, his daughter Lynn of Florida, his 3 sons, Todd of Texas, Chris and Rob of Washington, sister Ann of Florida, brother-in-law Herb of Elkhart, several nieces and nephews and 4 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Carol and son Eric.

There will be no services. Let’s not see Bob lying still with his eyes closed - let’s remember his always present smile, a warm hand shake or hug and his teasing to make you laugh.

Private burial will follow later.
