Robert H. Watson

Robert H. Watson Jr. 98, of Middlebury, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016 at Elkhart General Hospital.

He was born Jan. 9, 1917 in New Castle upon Tyne, England to Robert H. and Sally Ann (Lambie) Watson Sr. He married Irene Emma DuCharme in January of 1970. She died on Aug. 30, 1996. Surviving are Robert’s children, Robert H. Watson, III and Kristine “Tina” Rolston; 2 grandsons, 2 great-grandchildren and 4 Step-children.

Robert was a retired plumber and steamfitter and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps.

A committal service will be held at 1 pm Monday, Jan. 11th at the Chapel of Memories Mausoleum, Rice Cemetery with Rev. Ted Stanley officiating. Entombment will follow with military honors provided by the U.S. Army and D.A.V. #19.

Memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran School.
