Roberta V. Sweeney

Roberta V. Sweeney, 66 of Elkhart, IN. passed away Dec. 26, 2012 at Elkhart General
Hospital. She was born on October 24, 1946 in Muskegon, MI. to Virgil Porter and Roberta
Faye (Vandenburg) Middlecamp. She married Leslie Sweeney who preceded her in
death on Jan. 3, 2004.

Survivors include a daughter; Denise (Dwayne) Ward of Elkhart, a son, Leslie (Katrina)
Sweeney of Hasting, MI.; 4 Grandsons, Dwayne, Shawn, Christopher and Matthew
numerous Stepchildren, Step Granchildren and Step Great Granchildren,
two brothers; Laroy Porter of Whitehall, MI. and Marvin (Dee) Middlecamp of
Muskegon, MI. and a sister, Harriette (Pat) Grantsyn of Muskegon, MI. and several
Nieces and Nephews.

Friends may call from 5-6 p.m. Friday at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home at
Cobblestone Crossing where funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Cremation will
follow.
Mrs. Sweeney owned and operated with her husband Les’s Sanitary Service in
Hasting, MI. She loved to do puzzles, garden, cook and most of all loved her family.
