Roger L. Silveus

Roger L. Silveus, 71 of Elkhart, Indiana died February 26, 2012 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born on February 3, 1941 in Elkhart to Naaman and Nellie (Haney) Silveus. He married Bernice Kring on February 17, 1962 in Elkhart who survives him. He was preceded in death by a son Kevin L. Silveus and a brother, Arthur Silveus.

Friends may call from 4-8 P.M. Wednesday at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home at Cobblestone Crossing and 1 hour prior to the funeral service which will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home with Reverend Rick Harris of Fresh Start Alliance Church , Elkhart officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Street Cemetery.

Mr. Silveus was owner and operator of Rogers Lawn Care for many years retiring in December, 2007. He was a member of Fresh Start Alliance Church. His hobby and passion in life was his interest in classic cars.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Fresh Start Youth Group or Riley Children’s Hospital.
