Ronald Craig Shank

Ronald Craig Shank, 67, of Goshen, died June 3, 2010 at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born May 23, 1943 in Elkhart to Cyrus and Myrtle (Bowman) Shank and married Margie A. Fuller on May 6, 1992. She survives with his mother, Myrtle Shank of Elkhart; sister, Sandra Nusbaum of Sarasota, Fl; 7 daughters, Jackie (Brad) Miller of Goshen, Tammy (Eddie) Brown of Steele, MO, Mary Jo (David) Malloy of Sikeston, MO, Robin Shank and Rhonda Cummings of Pearidge, Ark, Denise (John) Johnson of Elkhart and Brandi Shank at home; 2 sons, Walter Jr. (Christy) Bohlmann of Bristol and Martin (Nicole) Bohlmann of Elkhart; 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Phillip Shank.

Mr. Shank was a tool & die machinist for 30 years and then was an over the road truck driver for the last 9 years. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church and enjoyed model trains, gardening and his family, friends and pets.

Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Monday at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart where services will be held at 11 am Tuesday. Pastor Carl Henry will officiate. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
