Ross Q. Hayward

Ross Q. Hayward, 73 of Elkhart, Indiana died October 1, 2009 @ 8:16 P.M. at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago, Illinois.
He was born on October 30, 1935 in Gary, Indiana to Stacey K. and Iris K. (Hancock) Hayward. He married Cheri Travis on September 30, 1983 in Merrillville, Indiana.

She survives along with three daughters; Lisa (Don) Way of Hobart, Indiana, Dawn (Jeff) Christner of Sturgis, Michigan and Tammy Hayward of Goshen, Indiana; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Friends may call from 3-7 P.M. Wednesday with the funeral service at 7:00 P.M. at Stemm Lawson Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Boulevard, Elkhart. Pastor Doyle Miller will officiate.

Mr. Hayward was a job developer for Goodwill Industries. He was a member of the AARP and the American Legion Post 143, Bristol. He served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy.
