Ruby V. Hawkins

Ruby V. Hawkins, 97, of CR# 101 Elkhart, passed away June 6, 2008 at her home.

She was born February 16, 1911 in Knox, Indiana to Frank and Bessie Mae (Collins) Kinney and married Harold D. Marks who preceded in death. She then married Victor Hawkins who also preceded in death. Surviving are a son, Stanley (Judy) Marks of Elkhart, 3 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 2 step-daughters, Hazel Scott and Vicky Mabie and a step-son Jon (Dottie) Hawkins. 2 sisters and a brother preceded in death.

Mrs. Hawkins was a homemaker and attended California Road Missionary Church.

Friends may call from 5-7 pm Monday at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home where services will be at 7 pm. Reverend Bud Walterhouse will officiate. Burial will be at Grovertown Cemetery, Grovertown, IN.
