Sharon M. Miller, 55 of Elkhart, passed away unexpectedly on December, 25, 2014 at Elkhart General Hospital.
She was born Sept. 4, 1959 in San Bernadino, California and married Timothy P. Miller on Nov. 23, 1981 in Big Spring, TX. They were together for 38 years and married for 33. He survives along with 3 daughters, April (Joseph) Black of South Bend, Erin (Kyle) Ptasienski of Mishawaka, and Dawn (Tim Taylor) Miller of Elkhart; 3 granddaughters; Lilyana, Arihanna, and Claire; 1 grandson, Kolton; and her mother, Maria Chupp of Elkhart. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Chupp and mother-in-law, Patricia Miller, whom she loved dearly.
Sharon attended Jimtown High School and was a caregiver for her mother. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star #181 and was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and grandmother. She cared for all living creatures. Her hobbies were entertaining with her husband in their DJ/Party business, including karaoke and clowning; camping, crafts, cooking and spending quality time with her family. She was the matriarch of her family taking great care in making sure everyone knew they were loved. Sharon will always be remembered for her caring, nurturing, loving and compassionate heart. She enjoyed nothing more than sharing quality time with her husband, mother, daughters, and grandchildren.
Visitation for Sharon will be Sunday, Dec. 28th from 1-3 pm at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, where a memorial service will be at 3 pm.
