Sharon A. Stow, 86, of Elkhart passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at the Caring Cottage Senior Living in South Bend, surrounded by her family. She was born on June 30, 1936 to Raymond and Ruth Williams in Elkhart. She married the love of her life, Jerry L. Stow Sr. on October 2, 1954 at Grace Lutheran Church in Elkhart. He preceded her in death on July 8, 2017.

Sharon was a 1954 graduate of Elkhart High School. As a young mom, she enjoyed serving lunch to students in the Elkhart Community School system, where she also worked as a paraprofessional. She was a top-notch mom for her children, as well as many other neighborhood kids. From her love of cooking great meals for her family, to being a coach for the North End Cycle Chicks, she was a tiny dynamo!  And truly, her favorite time was spent with her family and friends.

Sharon is survived by her children, Jerry (Kathy) Stow Jr. of Elkhart, Julie Smith of Hartford, WI., Perry (Andrea) Stow of South Bend, IN., and Sherrie (Dave) Miller of Elkhart; 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and her siblings, brothers “Buzz” (Claudine) Williams of Elkhart and Tom (Karen) Williams of Edwardsburg, MI. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jerry, siblings Hank Williams, Beverly Hartman and Bob Williams, and her son-in-law Terry Smith.
