An avid gardener, Sharon’s home was once featured in an issue of Country Living Magazine. She was a collector of many things. She loved her family fiercely. She worked many years for Harding Market in Bristol and for Hallmark Cards. Her main passions were her home, gardening and feeding her birds and chipmunks. She also loved to thrift shop and never turned down a bargain. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 10 am to 1 pm Wednesday, Aug. 31st at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart. Private family graveside services will follow at Oakridge Cemetery, Bristol.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Center for Hospice Care.
Sharon never wanted a funeral. She wanted a PARTY so that all her friends could have a good time in her honor. There will be a party planned at a later date.
