Shianna M. Aston

Shianna M. Aston, 6 of Mishawaka, Indiana passed away in the arms of her mother July 8, 2009 at 5:35 A.M. at the Elkhart Hospice House from injuries sustained after being struck by a car on May 7, 2009. She was born on September 17, 2002 in South Bend, Indiana to Shelly Aston.

She survives along with four aunts; Linda Peffley, Betty Austin and Gwen Lower all of Elkhart and Diane (William) Riordan of Montgomery, Illinois and an uncle Ken (Debbie) Lower of Aurora, Illinois. She is preceded in death by her sister, Shayla M. Aston who died May 8, 2009 and her grandmother, Lucille Aston who died May 2, 2009.

Visitation will be held from 9-11 A.M. Monday at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 616 Lincolnway East, Mishawaka with the memorial service at 11:00 A.M. Reverend Susan Haynes of St. Paul’s will officiate.

Shianna loved Velveeta Shells and Cheese, Sponge Bob, playing on the computer and drawing. She received her diploma from Kindergarten from Emmons Elementary is Mishawaka. She was a wonderful daughter and the best big sister you could ever want in the world. She was very sensitive and caring and touched the lives of everyone around her. Mommy will miss you forever and always.
