Stephen G. Price

Stephen G. Price, 73, of Elkhart, passed away to join his Eternal Father on Thursday March 10 at Elkhart General Hospital surrounded by his family.
He was born Jan. 30, 1943 in Elkhart to George and Virginia (Kauffman) Price.
On Aug. 1, 1964 at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Elkhart, he married Susan A. Warford. She survives along with 2 daughters: Jennifer Agramonte of Greenwood, IN and Jodi (Robert) Marshall of Warsaw; 4 grandchildren: Noah and Addison Marshall and Vincent and Mia Agramonte. He loved being a grandpa and father.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister JoAnn Moellering.
Steve graduated from Elkhart High School in 1961 where he was active in football, basketball and track. He was Boys Club president, and many other programs. He attended Indiana University where he became an avid IU fan for life. He loved sports of all kinds.
He was a salesman and worked for his father’s company Price-Meyers and retired from Office Beverage Systems. His outgoing personality made him many friends when he delivered his products. He never met a stranger. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, serving as a lay minister, Sunday school teacher, usher and on many committees.
Steve loved his family and was always glad to see any of them. His family also included two rescued small poodles, Buster and Buddy. He loved God, Sue, life, nature jazz music, sailing and camping in his last few years.
Visitation will be from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm on Friday, March 25th at Trinity United Methodist Church with services beginning at 2:30 pm. A celebration of life reception will be from 3:30 to 4:30 pm in the fellowship hall.
