Sue A. Hoetger

Sue A. Hoetger, 79 of 181 North Elkhart Avenue, Elkhart
died October 29, 2009 at 9:15 A.M. at Fountainview Place
of Mishawaka. She was born October 21, 1930 in Elkhart, Indiana to Paul C. and Flossie E. (Van Tillburg) Stemm Sr.

Surviving are a son, Tom (Pam) Hoetger of Buchanan, Michigan; a daughter, Beth Hoetger of Ann Arbor, Michigan; 7 Grandchildren; 1 Great Grandchild; two brothers, Paul (Dee) and Charles (Jody) Stemm and a sister, Sandy (Tom) Baylor all of Elkhart.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at Stemm-Lawson- Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Boulevard, Elkhart where friends may call two hours prior to the service. Reverend Ron Spyker of Jefferson Brethren Church, Goshen will officiate. Burial will follow at Rice Cemetery, Elkhart.

Ms. Hoetger worked as an Activity Director for various nursing homes in Michigan. She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. She was on the Board of Directors for the Y.W.C.A. for 8 years, their Dance Council Advisor and well as a Y Teen Advisor.
