Terence L. “Toad” Longcor, 57 of Elkhart, passed away April 12, 2013 at his home. He was born August 31, 1955 in Elkhart to Robert and Patricia (Himebaugh) Longcor. He married Glenna J. Moody on April 1, 1989 in Elkhart. Surviving are a daughter, Kari (Brandon) Gulbranson of Mishawaka and a son, Matthew (Brittany) Longcor of Elkhart; 3 granddaughters, Makayla Gulbranson, Chloe Gulbranson and Miabellah Longcor; 2 brothers, Timothy (Marsha) Longcor of Traverse City, MI and Thomas (Vivian) Longcor of Elkhart and a sister, Diana Longcor of Elkhart. He was preceded in death by his wife Glenna on May 16, 2005 and his parents.
A memorial service will be held 1 PM Friday at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Pastor Rob Meckley of Adamsville Road
Church of God will officiate. Burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
Mr. Longcor worked at Kessington Machine Products as a quality control inspector. Prior to that, he worked for Kobelco Compressors for 18 years in that capacity. He was a member of Adamsville Road Church of God where he was active in Bible study groups. He was a collector of toad memorabilia, loved to walk, swim fish and golf.
