Terry L. Smith

Terry L. Smith, 67 of 52020 Ash Road Granger, IN. died July 24, 2010 at 9 AM at Our Lady of Peace Hospital, Mishawaka. He was born on Jan. 6, 1943 in Elkhart to Albert D. and Catherine I. (Clement) Smith. He married Donna Krupp on Oct. 21, 1973 in Elkhart. She preceded him in death on August 4, 2005.

Survivors include four daughters; Kimberly Smith of Tampa, Fla., Christine (Michael) Watkins of Mishawaka, Jessica Smith and Julia Smith both of Granger, Ind., 7 grandchildren, two sisters; Marsha (Dennis) Schroth of Elkhart and Linda (Ken) Went of Union, Mich. and a sister-in-law, Sue Smith of Elkhart. He was preceded in death by a brother, Mitch.

Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. Tuesday at Stemm Lawson Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart where services will be held at 1PM. Wednesday. Cremation will follow.

Mr. Smith retired from Roadway as a truck driver. He was a member of the DAV. He loved his Corvette and Cleveland Little League. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and was a graduate of Elkhart High School and attended Ivy Tech for Tool and Die. Memorial contributions may be given to the Cleveland Little League.
