Theresa A. (DelRegno) Schieber

Theresa A. Schieber, 81, of Union, MI formerly of Elkhart, passed away Saturday Aug. 25, 2018 at Elkhart General Hospital.

She was born June 10, 1937 in Elkhart to Frank and Helen P. (Fortino) DelRegno. On May 4, 1957 in Elkhart she married Richard E. Schieber who survives along with 3 daughters; Cheryl Stamp of Union, MI, Ruth (Stuart) Nihart of Vandalia, MI and Helen (Guy) Vidmar of Granger, IN, 8 grandchildren, Amanda (Jason) Hoff, Roger (Kristin) Stamp, Mac (MaRinda) Stamp, Ricky Preston, Carisa (Dustin) Nolan, Jack Nihart, Stefanie (Todd) Tagliaferro and Michael (Ann) Vidmar; 16 great-grandchildren, Ronin, Reese, Jase, Levi, Lila, Mira, Cameron, Brixton, Ellis, Maci, Naomi, Ryan, Ranger, Andrew, Abby and Niley and a sister Norma (Ed) Royer of Elkhart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters: Violet Fernandez, Rosemary DelRegno and a brother Michael DelRegno.

Theresa retired as co-owner of Hilltop Pizza and was owner of Theresa’s Treats. She was a member of the Women of the Moose #73, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and was an EMT for Porter Township for 12 years. She enjoyed her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, bingo, poker and going to the casino boats.

Visitation for Theresa will be 4 to 8 pm Thursday Aug. 30th at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home and an hour prior to services at 11 am Friday Aug. 31st.
