Thomas E. Krallman,80 of Elkhart, Indiana died January 16, 2009 at 9:55 A.M. at Riverside Village.He was born on March 3, 1928 in Elkhart County, Indiana to Max M. and Fannie "Ada" (Tomblin) Krallman. He married Carol D. Weaver on January 1, 1949 in Elkhart, Indiana. She preceded him in death on December 22, 1964. He then married Alberta A. Baughman on July 10, 1965 in Elkhart.

She survives along with three sons; Steven (Kathy) of Bristol, Indiana, Martin (Margaret) of Loveland, Ohio and Robert (Mary) of Jupiter, Florida; a daughter, Connie (Rory) Cauffman of Mishawaka, Indiana; Stepsons, Glen and Pete Watts both of Elkhart; a stepdaughter, Sally (John) Coddins of Bristol, Indiana; two sisters, Mabel "Maxine" Conrad of Elkhart, Indiana and Shirley Rimpler of Houston, Texas; two brothers, Gene (Marie) of Elkhart, Indiana and Joe (Alice) of Wakarusa, Indiana; eight grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and nine step great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by two brothers, Dick and Harry Krallman, two sisters, Alice Miller and Margaret Krallman and a stepdaughter, Shirley Ann Watts.

Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Monday and one hour prior to the funeral service which will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Stemm Lawson Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Boulevard, Elkhart with the Reverend Mark Kloess of Lutheran Church of the Redeemer officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.

Mr. Krallman retired from NIPSCO as a stockman after 37 years of service. After that he worked for Clem Supply and Babsco Electric.He was a charter member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, DAV Post 19, Elkhart, the Flying Dutchmen and the Academy of Model Aeronautics Club.He served in the U.S. Army from 1952-1954.Memorial contributions may be given to the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer Food Pantry.
