Violet M. Juday, 102 of Bristol, died April 21, 2012 at Eastlake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Elkhart. She was born March 30, 1910 in Nappanee to William G. and Lulu (Weaver) Schieber and married Dwight M. Juday on April 16, 1934 in Angola, IN. He died Feb. 26, 2002. Surviving are a daughter, Mary (Skip) Winesburg of Bristol; 3 grandchildren, Lynn Winesburg of Bristol, Jane (Aaron) Deel of Haiku, HI, and James (Rena) Winesburg of Fortville, IN; great-grandchildren, Nicolas Deel and Bailey Turner and 1 sister, Florence Aldrich of Elkhart. She was preceded in death by a great grandson Dylan and a sister, Edna Dull.

Violet was a seamtress at Wilson Brothers in Elkhart then at Smolers Dress Factory for 20 years. When she retired, she became a homemaker and farmer with her husband Slats, raising cattle.
Graveside services will be 11 am Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Oakridge Cemetery, Bristol.
Chaplain Bob Puhr of Harbor Light Hospice will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to A.D.E.C.
