Virginia I. Rush

Virginia Irene Rush, 81 of Elkhart, Indiana died August 6, 2011 at 7:25 A.M. at home. She was born on October 31, 1929 in Loudon, TN. to Riley and Eva (Wattenbarger) Pipes. She married Lewis C. Rush on December 24, 1950 in Rossville, GA. He preceded her in death on November 24, 2008.

Survivors include three daughters; Barbara (Stephen) Keller, Linda (Tommy Prawat) Sissom and Connie (Davis) Long all of Elkhart, a son, Randall (Bonnie) Rush of Goshen, 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a sister, Joan Marlow of Crossville, TN.

Friends may call 2 hours prior to the funeral service which will be held at 1 P.M. Wednesday at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home at Cobblestone Crossing with the Reverend Michael Jenkins of Salem United Methodist officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
