William Frederick Ashby, 81, of Bristol passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at his home. William was born on April 5, 1938 to Stanton and Bernice (Smith) Ashby in Jordan, New York. He married Nancy A. Thibaudeau on November 28, 1959 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

William retired from Winnebago in the sales department. After his retirement he enjoyed working at Menards in Elkhart.

William is survived by his children, Julie (Jeff) Weddle of Goshen, Stephanie (Scott) Wade of Milwaukee, WI and Mark (Jessica) Ashby of Cassopolis, MI. Also surviving are his 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and his sister, Sharon Denniston of Baldwinsville, NY. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and his brother, John Ashby.

Friends may visit with family from 10- 11 am William’s celebration of life service will be at 11 am on Saturday May 25, 2019 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd, Elkhart, IN 46514.
