William R. Hossler

William R. Hossler, 78 of Elkhart, passed away April 30, 2015 at his home.

He was born Oct. 6, 1936 in Elkhart to Ernest E. and Grace E. (Hill) Hossler. He married Gloria L. Rink on June 10, 1956 in Elkhart. Surviving are a son, Richard (Karen) Hossler and a daughter, Nathalie Hossler both of Elkhart; 2 grandsons, Bradly Hossler and Matthew Hess and a sister, Judith A. (Glen) Atkinson of Edwardsburg, MI. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria on June 5, 1997, a daughter, Cinthia Hess on Sept. 8, 2011 and his parents.

William graduated from Elkhart High School in 1954 and retired as a printer for Golden Rule Printing in Elkhart, after 15 years. He previously worked at the Elkhart Truth as a printer. He was a former member of the Loyal Order of Moose,Goshen and loved to square dance.

Visitation for William will be from 4-6 pm Monday, May 4th at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home where services will begin at 6 pm. Chaplain Sunday Adelakin will officiate. Burial will be at Grace Lawn Cemetery at a later date.
