William E. Lord, Jr.

William E. Lord, Jr., 71, of Bristol, passed away on May 5, 2018 at home. He was born on July 3, 1946 in Elkhart, IN to William E. and Leona (Ray) Lord, Sr. He Married Claudia Sue Tredway on June 15, 1973.

He is survived by his wife, Claudia; a brother, Larry Lord, of California; Cousins: Forest Ray of Colorado and Mark Ray of Washington. Also surviving are his aunt, Shirley Sanders, of Elkhart and his uncle, Robert Lord, of Bristol, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Other survivors include brothers-in-law, Joseph Tredway, of Edwardsburg, MI and Vincent Tredway of New Castle; sisters-in-law: Theresa Tredway of Bristol, Dee Johnson of Elkhart, Mary (Kenny) Clark of Elkhart, Pam Watson of Elkhart, Connie Tredway of Bristol; step-brother Dennis (Amy) Bechtel; and step-sisters: Sue Nell Lowe of Elkhart, Linda (Robert) Brooks of Goshen and Janine (Robert) Gilley of Elkhart.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Howard and Mabel Lord and Lawrence and Anna Deardorff; 4 brothers-in-law; 2 sisters-in-law; numerous aunts and uncles and his best 4 legged pal, Bo.

Per his wishes, cremation is taking place. No visitation or service will be held.

Memorial contributions may be given to the American Legion, VFW, USO, DAV, Feed the Children or the Bristol Fire Department.
