William E. Muir

William E. “Bill” Muir, 57 of Bristol, passed away August 31, 2012 at IU Health, Goshen Hospital.

He was born February 3, 1955 in Indianapolis to David J. and Helen A. (Judson) Muir. He is survived by 2 sons, Tony Muir of Middlebury and Mike Muir of Elkhart; 2 grandchildren, Kaydon and Chandler Muir and 2 brothers, David (Michele) Muir of Bristol and James (Donna) Muir of Goshen. His parents preceded him in death.

Bill was a maintenance electrician and a farmer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his friends.

Visitation for Bill will be from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Tuesday at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday at the funeral home. Rev. Jim Fearnow will officiate. Cremation will follow services.
