Wilma G. (Rose) Kunce

Wilma G. (Rose) Kunce, 100 of Golden Living Center died December 11, 2009 at 9:55 A.M. at the nursing home. She was born on February 2, 1909 in Kosciusko County, Indiana to Henry and Anna (Horn) Meredith. She married Murrell C. Mowery in 1927 in Elkhart. He died December 16, 1929. She then married John F. Rose in 1930 in Elkhart. He died July 30, 1969. She then married Ivan G. Kunce June 5, 1972. He died November 12, 1984.

Surviving are three sons, Robert F. Rose of Elkhart, Ronald H. (Carla) Rose of Edwardsburg, Michigan and Myron (Hannah) Rose of Elkhart, a daughter, Joan Lough of Venice, Florida, 12 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren and 10 Great-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Bill D. Mowery, Brothers Ford, Hiram and Hoy Meredith and a sister, Freda.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday at Stemm Lawson Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Boulevard, Elkhart with the Reverend Bud Walterhouse of the California Road Missionary Church officiating. Burial will follow at Rice Cemetery, Elkhart. Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral service.
