Winifred J. Grove

Winifred J. “Winnie” Grove, 67, of Bristol, died at 3:07 pm February 22, 2010 in the emergency room of Elkhart General Hospital.

She was born February 18, 1943 in Elkhart to Eugene and Hilda (Schott) Casselman and married James E. Grove on May 15, 1982 in Middlebury. He survives with a son, Robert (Mary) Ward Jr. of Elkhart and a daughter Barbara (Robert) Lambert of Goshen; 2 step-sons, Alan Grove and Bradley Grove, 3 step-daughters, Terri of Tennessee, Darlene of Florida and Rochelle of Elkhart; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Hilda Pietro of Elkhart. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Eugene Casselman Jr. and a great-grandson, Dillon Lambert.

She was a homemaker and a volunteer since 1998 for Harvest Basket in Elkhart. She enjoyed going to garage sales.

Visitation will be Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd. Elkhart, where funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday. Pastor David Bell of Mottville Community Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery, Bristol.
