Bruce W. Hout, age 67, of Elkhart passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021 at Elkhart General Hospital. Bruce was born on October 6, 1953 in Grand Rapids, MI to Bruce A. and Mary Lee Hout. He married Brenda Burris on August 31, 1991 in Tennessee.

Bruce graduated from Concord High School class of 1971. He then started a career in the RV industry. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, playing golf or simply doing some yard work or gardening. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

Bruce is survived by his wife Brenda Hout; his daughters, Dawn Hout and Brandi Hout, step-son Nathan Riddle; his grandchildren, Allyson Campos, Antonio Campos and Makayla Self; his great-grandchildren, Nayelli Campos and Marco Antonio Campos; his brother, Gregory Hout; his nephew, Travis (Ashley) Hout and his great-nephew, Ian Hout and great-niece, Jensen Hout. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Cynthia Farley.

A celebration of Bruce’s life will be at 5pm on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., IN 46514 where friends may visit with family 2 hours before services. Rev. Hilda Peters will officiate.
