John Charles Musselman, 78, of Bristol passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023 surrounded by his family at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, FL. John was born on July 30, 1944 in Fort Sill, OK to Merl and Dorothy Ellen Musselman. He married the love of his life Janice Kaye Cupp on January 27, 1967 in Markleville, IN.
John graduated from LaPorte High School, Class of 1963. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Indiana University in 1968. He honorably served his country in the United States Army. He was an Executive in the music instrument industry for over 50 years; he was the owner and operator of American Way Marketing in Elkhart, IN. He enjoyed traveling with his wife Janice. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
John is survived by his wife of 56 years, Janice Kaye Musselman; their children Julie Ann Musselman of Georgia, and Eric David (Becky) Musselman of Colorado; grandchildren Turner, Zoey, Isaac, Monte and Zane, and his sister Judi Waid of Hilliard, OH.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held for John at 5 pm on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 where visitation will be held from 1-5 pm. Military honors will follow the Celebration of Life Service.
