Ronnie Stanley

Ronnie Stanley, 72, of Cassopolis, MI, passed away Friday Sep. 2, 2022 at his home after a long battle with illness. He was born April 21, 1950 in Floyd County, KY to Homer and Belvia Stanley. On Jan. 1, 1998 he married Tammy Lynn Bowers.

Ronnie retired from Ford Motor Company and owned Stanley Transport. He enjoyed gardening, going to the casino and spending time with his family. He really loved cars.

Surviving are his wife Tammy, Daughters, Sheryl (Dennis) Johnson of Price, KY, Jennifer Stanley of Elkhart, Jill (Scott) Ross of Goshen and Brandi (Ron) Bowers of Osceola, IN. He was a grandfather to: Burnett, Jarrid, Lexis, Christian, Tyler, Camden, Brayden, Madi, Cloee, Layla, Joshua, Maka, Bentlee and Sawyer. He was a great-grandfather to 5 great-grandchildren. His siblings Betty (Roger) McKinney of Falmouth, KY and Teddy Stanley of Lexington, KY. He was Uncle Wonnie  to Scottie Stanley and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Amanda Bowers, siblings, Randall (Lou) Stanley, Gordon (Carol) Stanley, Gary (Deanna) Stanley, Ricky Stanley, Michael Stanley and Paul Doug Stanley and father-in law Jack Bowers.

Visitation for Ronnie will be from 4 to 8 pm Tuesday Sept. 6, 2022 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 where funeral services will be at 11am Wednesday Sep. 7, 2022 with visitation one hour before services. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, IN.
